When teachers have a better understanding of what their special needs students are experiencing, they're able to reach – and teach – them more effectively.To cultivate kindness through understanding, participants will explore autism, sensory processing disorders and learning disabilities, and engage in powerful, hands-on experiences that will open their eyes to the kinds of challenges many of our students are coping with every day, in our classrooms. Learn how you can foster empathy in your students and create the kind of conditions that are conducive to effective learning for all.
