What have you heard? An introduction to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada

September 22, 2016

This online brochure was designed to introduce ETFO members to First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) people, the legacy of Canada’s relationship with Indigenous peoples and the move to reconciliation by addressing common statements that exist in our society regarding FNMI people. The resource provides information on historical and current issues, Canada’s collective history and relationship with Indigenous peoples, and ideas on what educators can do. The content in the brochure is hyperlinked to websites that will provide members with more in-depth information on various topics.

The brochure can be found on ETFO’s Spirit Horse website at http://spirithorse.ca/fnmi-brochure/.
