Collective Bargaining

The solidarity of our members is the heart of our bargaining power and makes gains possible.

A Tentative Agreement

must be ratified by an all membership vote. It has to be also ratified by the Board. Then the new Collective Agreement takes effect!

Notice to bargain occurs and Local Bargaining commences.

Our Collective Agreement

Each and every ETFO member has a stake in reading and understanding the collective agreement, and in supporting the local bargaining process.

Ongoing Enforcement

  • Email your experiences and ideas!

  • Participate in local surveys you will receive in your home email.

  • Attend local meetings and voice your concerns.

  • Join a local committee.

Local Collective Bargaining Process

Where are we now?

The Preliminary Submission

is developed by the Collective Bargainning Committee based on the data collected from the membership. An all membership vote to proceed to bargaining takes place at a general meeting.
